What brought you to the Brandcenter?
Prior to Brandcenter I worked several jobs that you can find on my LinkedIn, but the most interesting part of my life was my time in undergrad. I was a Division 1 football player at the University of Richmond. I signed with an NFL agent after graduation. Long story short, it did not work out.
I majored in sociology as an undergrad because I have always been curious about people, social groups, and their actions. I have also always felt like a detective; I love solving problems because I know there’s always a good solution.
After working in marketing for three years, I wasn’t fulfilled and wanted more.
I did some research on different schools and their programs, and the Brandcenter was my number one choice. I knew attending this program would accelerate my career and life to where I wanted to be. I realized I have a skill for persuasion and I’ve always been a strategic thinker. I want to solve problems for the biggest brands in the world.
What have you gained during your time here?
Experience. I have had so many at-bats on assignments, working with different classmates, and even my internship at Erich & Kallman in the strategy department. It’s exciting to look back and see all the ideas that were created.
I have also become a better strategic thinker thanks to the awesome professors at Brandcenter. I now have a stronger foundation to be a better version of myself.
