Proof that Visual Storytelling is worth its weight in gold pencils:
Today we needed to edit a social video for Jack Daniel’s. All of the “makers” were too booked up per the producers. Account got into it with them. Producers said “hire a freelancer.” My partner and I said, “just let us do this. It’s super easy.” They came back with, “that isn’t your job.” We got the files anyway and did the edit with music in a half hour.
Now everyone thinks we’re geniuses and the producers, who are usually cool, had to eat some crow.
